Ruaha River Lodge
Ruaha River Lodge occupies a unique and privileged position set around a series of rocky kopjes in a bend of the
Great Ruaha River, blending seamlessly into it’s surrounding and affording views up and down the river. Game is
drawn to the river from the neighbouring hills and guests can witness the great wildlife dramas unfold from the
comfort and protection of their self contained natural stone and thatch ‘banda’ . With resident hippos and crocs
there is always plenty of action to watch and several incidents of lion or leopard kills have been seen from the
24 stone and thatch rooms with en suite bathroom facilities all sited along the river bank. Every room has a large private veranda. Bandas can be double, twin, single or triple. Extra beds can be added on request. All rooms have lounge area with sofa and armchair, coffee table, writing desk. Rooms have mosquito proof windows and doors, and mosquito nets over the beds. Spray is also provided. Electricity is provided by generator - 24 V with UK style 3 pin socket. Power is not 24 hours and is available for lighting and recharging batteries but not for hairdryers.
Rufiji River Camp
Rufiji River Camp enjoys the most fabulous position looking over the wide, sprawling waterway. The camp has
14 tents individually sited with the length of the tent alongside the river bank. Each tent has an extended and
shaded veranda, where guests can relax between game excursions and enjoy the activity always present in and
along the river.
11 classic tents on wooden platforms with thatched roofs and ensuite bathroom. Tents can be double, twin, triple or quads. 3 family suites with 2 tents on a shared platform with plunge pool. Each tent has its own luxury bathroom. Tents are mosquito proof, but nets are hung over the beds and spray is provided. Fans are in the tents. Electricity is provided by generator - 24V with UK style 3 pin sockets. Power is not 24 hours and is available for lighting and recharging batteries. Swimming pool - towels provided but no lifeguard. Water is solar heated.
Katavi Wildlife Camp:
Katavi Wildlife Camp is set back amongst the trees fringing the Kitasunga Plain. As the Katuma
river is just close by a daily parade of animals pass in front of the camp on their way to drink. The
camp has a total of 8 tent platforms shaded by an extended thatch roof. The bar lounge has perfect
views out across the plain where many lion kills are witnessed as there is a resident pride of lion close

Stanleys Kopje is a small camp set on a rocky kopje overlooking the Mwanamboga water hole. Built
on one of the few hills dotted about the extensive plain, the 360 degree views from the restaurant and
bar on the top of the hill are quite spectacular and each tent is spaced out around the base of the hill
with open vistas stretching out as far as the eye can see.

Vuma Hills Tented Camp:
Vuma Hills Tented Camp is built on the hills overlooking the plain. The tents are shaded by woodland, although
the animals do still wander through. The spacious tents are dotted around the restaurant, bar and swimming pool. The
evenings are lit up with a brazier and the chance t see the resident honey badgers, civits, genets and bush babies that arrive
for their evening meal. These unusual companions are sometimes accompanied by porcupine. These nocturnal animals are
rarely seen and especially at such close proximity.

Mufindi Highland Lodge
The Southern Highlands of Mufindi, Iringa District, is at an altitude of around 6700ft resulting in a cool temperate climate
not generally expected in Africa. The countryside is spectacularly undulating ending abruptly at the 2000ft rift valley
escarpment. The area has stunning scenery, dark thick montane rainforests and pristine tea estates interlaced with lakes,
rivers and streams.
The Highlands are in complete contrast to the hotter, dustier, lowlands and the area gives a matchless sense of freedom to roam where you please by foot, horse, mountain bike or vehicle.
The lodge has 8 classic log cabins, which can be double or twin; 2 can be family or triple rooms with bunk beds. 1 chalet with 2 separate bedrooms downstairs and shared upper sitting room with veranda. Each room has 2 double beds plus a set of bunk beds. 2 honeymoon/anniversary rooms with fireplace, four poster bed, sofa and writing desk. All rooms have en suite bathroom with bathtub, over bath shower, basin and toilet. Main Lodge building has downstairs restaurant with open fire. Bar/lounge is upstairs with open fire, sofa and balcony. Snooker room and TV rooms are also upstairs. Electricity is 24V with UK style 3 pin sockets and mains supplied.
This idyllic island is 2km off the shore of mainland Tanzania opposite the historical town of Bagamoyo,
north of Dar es Salaam. A sand spit protected by a coral reef, the island is inaccessible by land at all times,
thus maintain it’s exclusivity to guests of Lazy Lagoon. The coral reef surrounding the island offers a great
opportunity for snorkelling off the beach. Being an island, Lazy Lagoon is quite unique with sea swimming
possible at all tides.
